ABOUT BRONX HEROES
Welcome to the 3rd Annual Bronx Heroes Comic Book Con. Very soon, we will be producing and putting together this upcoming event with the support of the Bronx Council on the Arts at a local Bronx venue. Our purpose for this upcoming event is to bring together a variety of artist
from our neighborhood and provide opportunities to lesser-known artists while widening the fan base for known professionals. Our goals are to promote literacy and foster new generations of readers to this amazing art form; we strive to promote the understanding and appreciation of the arts and present Bronx residents with the best in independent comic art. Everyone involved in our show will play a major role in making this event into a strong gathering of artists, creators, and Indy publishers. Thank you everyone for supporting the event.

HISTORY
The Bronx Heroes began as a comic anthology about heroes in the Bronx, which then morphed into an art show called
"Dream Sequence" at Longwood at Gallery, and then re-emerged as a comic book series and finally as a Comic Convention at Hostos College. The Bronx Heroes con is an event which brings together the Bronx community and exposes them to one of America's oldest art forms in commercial art. Bronx Residents get the opportunity to meet and greet with comic professionals who reside in the Bronx and other parts of the New York and Tri-state area. It's an event which is offered free to attend and where aspiring young artists and writers can discuss and listen to professionals in the comic book field and gain encouragement and make connections towards a career in the comic book art field.
